Famous Football Player Returns to the Game after Devastating Foot Injury
Jaguars running back, Maurice Jones-Drew will be making a big return to the game of football. Recently, the athlete injured his foot in Oakland leaving him unable to play for quite some time. Given the okay by doctors, the football star will be training with the rest of his team soon. Jones-Drew suffered a Lisfranc injury.
“He came back and they put him through multiple tests, his cutting and things like that, he did outstanding. You’ll see him out there getting some reps, but we want to be smart with that and bring him along slowly,’’ Coach Gus Bradley said. Jones-Drew doesn’t seem to be bothered by those who think they may have lost a step in his eighth season after suffering a serious foot injury. “As I got older, I think my drive to be the best running back is what kind of gets me going, to be the best overall running back. That’s what drives me now,” said Drew.

Receiving treatment from a podiatrist such as Dr. Greg Khaimov of Foot and Ankle Center of Fort Lee, LLC help you manage your injury as well as provide solutions for how to get back into the sports you enjoy.
